Why You Might Have Mice

Depending on the season or weather, mice will enter your home to keep warm, seek shelter or find a place to start a very large family. Homes and their foundations offer many things mice need such as food, items to create their nests and simply a place to be left unharmed. If you have holes in your walls or foundation, these may be convenient entrances for mice to seek shelter and reproduce, quickly creating mice infestation problems.

We Do the Exclusion Work

Rodents can be difficult to keep out of structures. For instance, mice can squeeze through spaces as small as a dime and rats can fit through holes the size of a quarter. Knowing that openings are an invitation to rodents, the first step in our exclusion work is to identify gaps inside and outside of your home. Some of the most common entry points include utility lines that penetrate the building envelope (water, air conditioning, electrical, etc.) and openings associated with doors.

Once the gaps where rodents can enter your home or office are identified, we seal up all areas around your home where they could enter from to ensure they don’t come back in the future!

Extermination

After the gaps are repaired, we will set snap traps in your basement and attic safely away from children and pets. We don’t use poison inside of your home. We will then set up bait stations out side of your home to poisen any mice outside of your home.  These stations are locked for safety.

Once the traps are tripped, call us and we’ll come out and remove them.
